The Ilawe Science Challenge is an annual STEM competition discovering, nurturing, and celebrating exceptional science talent among secondary school students in Ilawe-Ekiti. The maiden edition opens in 2027.
How it works
A simple but rigorous structure, built on fairness, integrity, and transparency from the very first edition.
Register
SS2 and SS3 students in Ilawe-Ekiti (or of Ilawe-Ekiti origin) register free and receive a unique candidate ID number.
Write the Challenge exam
Sit a rigorous 60-minute, 50-question multiple-choice examination per subject under controlled, transparent conditions.
Get ranked and celebrated
Top candidates earn Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards, with certificates of participation for every student who completes the examination.
The subjects
The maiden edition focuses on the three core science subjects. Mathematics, Computer Science, and General Studies follow in future editions.
Chemistry
From fundamental concepts to WAEC and UTME-level applications and data interpretation.
Biology
